Tasks
- To identify laws and policies causing national conflict and determine reform measures through a public contest to collect ideas (twice a year), research by experts and regional debates
- To make improvements in the identified laws and policies by consulting with related government ministries
Major
Outcomes
- Removed identification of locality on driver's licenses to prevent regional conflicts (July 2014)
- Simplified the procedure for filing insurance claims for small medical expenses so that only a prescription is needed for verification (Jan 2015)
- Restricted companies and hospitals from collecting and storing personal information from applicants and patients for unrelated purposes (July 2014)
- To issue proof of registration for North Korean defectors online and arrange for participation of North Korean defectors in local forums on refugee support (to be executed within 2015)
- Improved the procedures for conducting archeological field surveys of potential development sites to determine the existence of cultural artifacts
- Expanded the scope of the airport noise task force and planned for the establishment of a central noise task force
